HERE'S HOW WE CREATE THE SWEETHEART NECKLINE BANDEAU LATEX BRA
STEP 1
First we select our pattern, and begin to trace it out on the wrong side of the latex. This provides our guideline for cutting, and is a crucial step to making consistently sized items. By tracing on the wrong side of the latex, we ensure that the front stays clean, and free of any marks.
STEP 2
Once we have outlined the shape, we carefully cut the latex with a sharp roller blade; a sharp blade is required to ensure there are no snags or jagged cuts that could cause the material to tear, either during production or wear.
If there are any remaining marks from tracing the pattern, they can be easily removed once it has been cut out, using a small amount of clean water and a soft cloth.
STEP 3
The next step is to glue. First we use an alcohol based cleaner to prepare the areas that are to be glued, and apply a clean line of glue to only the areas being glued. This is done on both the pieces creating the seam, to ensure a strong bond. We finally use a seam roller to apply pressure evenly over the seams. The combination of the glue and roller will ensure that the seam is durable.
STEP 4
Once all seams have been glued and rolled smooth, the label is applied. Finally the garment is dusted with talc, to stop it sticking to itself and to keep it protected for transit to our customers.
All made to order latex pieces are handmade and crafted within the company premises, which means countless hours are spent in ensuring that the designs are perfect. We want you to be daring, look good, and feel good; after all it is our Honour to do so!!
